Perry currently has two parks:
Daleyville Community Park
The Daleyville Park is located on the west side of the Daleyville settlement and is approximately one acre in size. Located on property donated to the Town in 2002 by the Ranum family, it will be developed as a community-based family
park.
Hauge Historic District Park
The 30-acre Hauge Historic Park was established as the Town's first park for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing the character of the 1852 Hauge Log Church historic site. With much of the park's open area presently undergoing native prairie restoration, it serves to provide visitors from not only the local community but from around the world a location for an inspiring respite from everyday life.
The Hauge Historic District Park also provides both residents and visitors alike with
recreational facilities for hiking, picnics, or other
passive activities.
As stated by the Perry Historic Preservation Commission our hope is that Hauge Historic District Park will "foster civic pride in the accomplishments of the past as well as promote its use for the education, pleasure, and welfare of all people now and into the future."
