An 1872 view of the Onon B. Dahle house located at 10779 Evergreen Avenue in Daleyville. (map)   Daleyville was founded by Dahle (Daley is an Americanization of the original spelling), who opened a general store (now gone) at this location in 1853.  This house was built for him in 1864 and he lived here until 1895 when he moved to nearby Mount Horeb. Currently occupied by the Walker family, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
