Regular Town Board meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Town Hall, 10084 County Highway A, beginning at 7:30 PM. Special Town Board meetings may be convened as needed.

Dates, times, and agendas of all regularly scheduled Town Board meetings will be published in the Legal Notices section of the Mount Horeb Mail newspaper at least one week in advance of the meeting. Information about regularly scheduled meetings is also listed in the web site's Event Calendar as soon as available.

Notice of Special Town Board meetings will be posted on bulletin boards located at the Town Hall, Town Garage, and on the sign post located at Highway 78 and Grinder Road in Daleyville. (Map) Notices are required to be posted a minimum of 24 hours in advance of such meetings.

The Perry Historic Preservation Commission meets at the Town Hall, 10084 County Highway A, on an as-needed basis. Dates, times, and agendas of upcoming meetings will be listed on the Event Calendar as soon as available and will also be posted a minimum of 24 hours in advance at the Town Hall, Town Garage, and at the sign post located along Highway 78 at Grinder Road in Daleyville.

Perry Land Use Committee meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month at the Town Hall, 10084 County Highway A, beginning at 8:00 PM.  Site views for those agenda items requiring them are usually held on the prior Saturday beginning at 8:30 AM. The Land Use Committee normally does not meet in months where there are no pending applications.

Dates, times, and agendas of all Land Use Committee meetings will be posted a minimum of 24 hours in advance at the Town Hall, Town Garage, and at the sign post located along Highway 78 at Grinder Road in Daleyville. Information is also listed in the Event Calendar as soon as available and will be published in the Legal Notices section of the Mount Horeb Mail newspaper at least one week in advance of the meeting.

The Perry Recycling Center is open from 8 AM to Noon every Saturday year round.

	Dane County's Clean Sweep program now has winter hours! The Clean Sweep Program for recycling household hazardous waste will be open during 2012 with new winter hours.  This is the first such seasonal expansion of the program. 2012 Winter Hours will be Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm, through April 27th. Normal summer hours and operating procedures will resume in May of 2012. Due to the fact that our existing facility is located on an outdoor site, we are limited with the services we can provide during these new winter season hours. PLEASE NOTE:  This is a pilot program and winter hours of operation and program details may be altered as necessary.  Please check our website for any changes to the program at www.danecountycleansweep.com
	New Law Keeps Oil Filters and Absorbents Out of Landfills. Beginning January 1, 2011 used automotive engine oil filters and oil absorbent materials are banned from Wisconsin landfills. The new law, 2009 Wisconsin Act 86 was passed in 2009 to promote oil recycling and protect the environment. To help explain the ban, the DNR has developed a new webpage that includes information on what materials are covered under the ban and guidance on how to manage these materials.
	Under Wisconsin's new electronics recycling law, as of September 1, 2010 most electronic items, including cell phones, are banned from all Wisconsin landfills and must be recycled. These items will no longer be accepted at the Perry Recycling Center after this date!
