{"id":1784,"date":"2017-05-29T03:45:50","date_gmt":"2017-05-29T03:45:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.perry-wi.gov\/?page_id=1784"},"modified":"2022-05-02T20:11:22","modified_gmt":"2022-05-02T20:11:22","slug":"mobile-home-permits","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.perry-wi.gov\/?page_id=1784","title":{"rendered":"Mobile Home Permits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No mobile home shall be parked or stationed in the Town of Perry except in a licensed mobile home park, unless a mobile home permit has been issued by the Town Board. \u00a0The Town\u2019s policy on mobile homes, the definitions of what a mobile home is and exemptions can be found in the Town\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perry-wi.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Mobile-Home-Ordinance.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mobile Home Ordinance<\/a>.\u00a0 The County\u2019s policies can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.countyofdane.com\/ordinances\/#zoning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dane County\u2019s Zoning Ordinances<\/a> \u2013 available from Dane County Planning and Development.<\/p>\n<p>*Mobile Home Permits will not be issued until a site plan has been approved by the Town. \u00a0If a site plan was submitted with a zoning change request, the site plan approval will be considered with that application. \u00a0If there is no rezoning, a site plan application will need to be submitted and approved before a Mobile Home Permit will be issued.<\/p>\n<p>*No Mobile Home Permit will be issued until the driveway (if needed) is constructed according to the specifications in the Driveway Ordinance and until a completed inspection report is received. \u00a0Before coming to the Town you should confirm with Dane County Planning and Development that the mobile home and the proposed location conform with County zoning requirements.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 1: \u00a0To Apply<\/b><\/p>\n<p>* Applicants should begin the process with Dane County Zoning at the same time as with the Town.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.perry-wi.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Permit-Application-form-revised-2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Permit Application<\/a><i>, <\/i>selecting \u201cMobile Home.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>With the application, you should include the following exhibits, if applicable:\n<ul>\n<li>Site Plan<\/li>\n<li>County Erosion Control Plan (if needed)<\/li>\n<li>Completed Driveway Construction report (if a driveway is needed)<\/li>\n<li>County Zoning Permit (if required)<\/li>\n<li>County Sanitary Permit<\/li>\n<li>Land Division Approval (if this property was divided from a larger one)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\u00a0Submit the completed Permit Application (<i>include <strong>original<\/strong><\/i><strong> + <\/strong><i><strong>8 copies<\/strong> of the application and each exhibit)<\/i> and the\u00a0<strong>mobile home\u00a0fee of $25<\/strong>\u00a0to the Town Deputy Clerk, Stephanie Zwettler at 9730 County Rd A, Mount Horeb, WI \u00a053572. \u00a0Email questions to: \u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sszwettler@gmail.com\">sszwettler@gmail.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>After receipt of all of the above, the Clerk will issue a Mobile Home Permit. \u00a0This permit is effective according to the type of installation outlined below:<br \/>\na.) \u00a0 \u00a0For permanent installations, the Mobile Home Permit shall be effective as long as the mobile home remains at its original site. \u00a0If \u00a0 the original mobile home is removed for any reason, the permit shall expire and a new Mobile Home Permit is required.<br \/>\nb.) \u00a0 \u00a0For replacement installation, which replaces the original mobile home, the original permit shall expire and a new Mobile Home Permit is required.<br \/>\nc.) \u00a0 \u00a0For temporary installation, the Mobile Home Permit shall be effective for a period to be determined by the Town Board.
