The Hauge Log Church<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"HaugeWinter100x100\"<\/a>Constructed in 1852, the Hauge Log Church was the first Norwegian Lutheran Church built in western Wisconsin. It was used as the first school in the area until a permanent school house was built. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, the log structure, now clapboard-covered, still stands on its original site.<\/p>\n

The Dahle House<\/h3>\n

The Onon B. Dahle house is located in Daleyville (map), which was founded by Dahle in 1853. Built for Dahle in 1864, he lived here until 1895 before moving to nearby Mount Horeb. Currently occupied by the Walker family, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.<\/p>\n

The Jensvold House<\/h3>\n

\"JensvoldHouse1892\"<\/a>This building was built on the outskirts of Daleyville (map) for Gilbrand Jensvold and his wife Bertha shortly after they were married in 1868. Located on what is now the Berg farm, the house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008 and is currently awaiting restoration.<\/p>\n
